EATON TR5797 Floor Box Receptacle, Black and Brass

The Eaton TR5797 tamper resistant commercial single floor box assembly is an automatic Grounding system, which eliminates the need for a bonding jumper in a grounded metal enclosure. This receptacle also provides a redundant measure of ground continuity where a jumper is used. The floor box assembly is compliant with 2011 NEC articles 406.12 – 406.14 for tamper resistant receptacles.

The Cooper floor box receptacle is tamper resistant, with 2 poles and 3 wires, accommodating 14 - 10 AWG wire, and rated at 15 A, 125 V, with a NEMA 5-15R configuration. It measures 4-1/2 inches in overall length, 2-3/4 inches in overall width, and 3-1/2 inches in overall depth, and is made of nylon/thermoplastic in a Black color, suitable for use in temperatures ranging from -20 to 70 degrees Celsius. The receptacle is CUL listed and has side wire terminals.

The side wire terminals on the TR5797 accept up to number 10-solid or stranded wire, while the push-in terminals accept a number 14-solid wire.
