RACO 6239NI Nickel 1-Gang Floor Kit with Recessed Duplex 15A TR Device and Adjustable Steel Box

The RACO 6239NI 1-Gang Wood Floor Boxes in Nickel finish allow for the placement of electrical power or a combination of power and voice/data devices. Complying with NEC Article 406.11, this safe and recessed tamper-resistant duplex receptacle allows plugs to be concealed, especially for children's safety. The recessed duplex 15A TR device and adjustable steel box in nickel finish can be used for both power and data.

Equipped with back and side knockouts, the intelligent design provides proper wiring access for cable, plug, cord, USB, or Ethernet, protecting the electrical connection and preventing accidental disconnection. The no-unsightly-plugs feature reduces plug protrusion on the surface of the floor, while the removable neoprene gaskets enable independent use of either side of the receptacle with the cover closed. The pre-assembled flange and cover ensure fast installation.

This versatile floor box can be installed on a variety of surfaces, including granite, flooring, wood, a countertop, an outdoor concrete wall, a ceiling, or by a window. The height can be adjusted after the steel box is mounted, making it a convenient and adaptable solution. The package includes the steel box, nickel-plated cover and flange, and a 15A/125V tamper-resistant receptacle.
